I am not a woman, I am not even familiar with what a woman endures on a daily basis stepping out into this world. However, I do know that my sisters all over the world deserve to be treated as equals. That their bodies are their own & no man nor woman can control or set laws that control bodies that are not of their own. Women deserve to be heard & deserve equality. I stand here today fighting for women of color, lgbtq women, black women, Muslim women, trans women, & any women that are treated less than anything but equals. For my mom, grandma, aunts, sisters, & friends I’m here today and everyday for you. Thank you Memphis for coming together & showing support not only for women, but coming through for the minorities included in that population of women. ✨✊🏽
Women’s March 2.0 was amazing and extremely empowering! What a time to be alive. So much good came from today, but we still have so much work to do. I hope you’ll join me and the rest of the world in making this place better for all of us. Peace and love to you all. May you continue to spread awareness and be voices for the voiceless.
With much love,
